For The GTAV F-4 (Working on a Machinima that needed specific F-4's)
Here https://www.gta5-mods.com/vehicles/mcdonnell-douglas-f-4-phantom-ii
Once installed with their instructions, open the dlc.rpf with OpenIV
Follow this path to the file to overwrite:
...GTAV/mods/update/x64/dlcpacks/f4/dlc.rpf/x64/levels/gta5/vehicles.rpf/f4.ytd
If you wish to retain the original livery, while in OpenIV, extract the file f4.ytd. I typically extract the original .ytd to the same folder as the dlc.rpf and rename it to origf4.ytd.
When ready to overwrite with the F-4 livery, toggle "Edit mode", top right button, and drag f4.ytd from the extracted zip file and drop here:
...GTAV/mods/update/x64/dlcpacks/f4/dlc.rpf/x64/levels/gta5/f4vehicles.rpf/f4.ytd
After you have the f4.ytd file, edit it with the Texture Toolkit, rename the current PHATS texture to PHATSORIG, then rename the desired texture to PHATS. There are textures for US Navy VF-111 and US Marines VFMA-531.
Just to confirm the livery, I'd click on the f4.yft or f4_hi.yft file to open the OpenIV Model Viewer to see what the model will look like with the new livery.
Once satisfied, close the model viewer and run GTAV and spawn f4 with the trainer of your choice.
If anyone can figure out how to add livery support, you've got my permission to use my f4_texture files.
Enjoy,
Gillman

Working on a Machinima for Whanowa's MachiniMay and needed specific liveries for the USS Coral Sea circa 1980, decided to upload them in case anyone else would like to use them.
