To Save a vehicle, simply get in the vehicle and start modifing it, if the mod is installed correctly, you will get a message saying "Persistent Rides : Save Vehicle " then the vehicles name, for a vehicle already saved by the mod, you can also exit the vehicle to save its modifications or change mods and it will update the saved location and modifications. To delete a vehicle, access the phone, and go to contacts scroll down and call the contact "Persistent Rides" and a menu will appear, there will be a submenu with all vehicles loaded, here you can select on and choose to teleport or delete the vehicle, deleting the vehicle cannot be undone!
install
1. download and Install scripthookv + Scripthookvdotnet
2. create a scripts folder (named scripts and not Scripts) if you havent got one already
3. drag PersistentRides.dll, PersistentRides.pdb and PersistentRides folder into scripts
4. Install LemonUI for SHVDN2 from the download text file in the zip folder
5. drag a Ifruitaddon2 folder and dll into scripts if you dont have it
6. Drag and drop HKHModHelperNew.dll and PDB into scripts, if you have it already make sure that your version is 6.0 or above!
7. Launch game
8. enter a vehicle and modify it and it should save

I ended up just installing both as I don't think they conflict anyway.

i loved this mod but found out that once you save a lot of cars like over 15 of them it crashes the game when you go to certain areas in the game. I tried teleporting to the beach in los santos from vinewood and it immediately crashed to desktop. once i removed this mod i was able to go in certain areas without the game crashing. Something with memory seems to be an issue with this mod

hi, i have download the mod and follow the instruction but still my gta 5 on phone its don't show which is I'm not getting the phone entry for Persistent rides and its not working, can anyone tell me how to fix this?

@HKH191 All my rides disappeared for all characters removed every mod added since the last time the rides loaded but nothing changed. Installed latest patch nothing. I think the mod is broken. Mors insurance would not work before when Persistent Rides was working. But now Mors is working but Persistent Rides isn't. Please look into this. I have a lot of rides across characters don't want to start over collecting. Also I know Persistent Rides isn't working because go new ride customized it and it didn't save. That's when I went to Mors.

Random Plate still happening. I have to redo my plate everytime i walk away from the car.

Can you add a prompt button next to the vehicle to save the vehicle directly? It is a bit troublesome to save it after modification.

The random plate causes other mods like vstancer to not work (cause its plate specific). Also, a lot of times the car spawns even though it still exists in the world. A check needs to be in place if that car already exists.

For some reason I have a mod conflict causing a crash on load between BC+/AW mod (Better Chases+/Active Warrants). If I remove either the other works without issue. I'm not sure what information could be useful (I've used logs quite a bit to troubleshoot, but I'm not sure which you could use if you were up for making a compatibility patch, assuming it's not just me). Your mod won out, but I'd love to really try out BC+

A version without any dependencies would be nice. I just want to have my car saved at a position without me noticing and without me even being able to teleport it. A single, GUI-free script.

Just had a bug, all the saved cars suddenly appear/moved to the vinewood at the same time.
