Description
I ended up taking the sounds out of the game "Squad" and edited them to fit into the GTA world. Even though these sounds are taken from another source, I spent a lot of time editing them to work in Grand Theft Auto, so please ask before using anything. I am also still working on this mod so any suggestions are welcomed.

!!IMPROTANT!! Make sure your SFX Volume in settings is near or all the way up. Then you can change the loudness through your headset or computer. This is to ensure quality of the gun sounds.
Installation
!!MAKE SURE YOU INSTALL AFTER REALISTIC WEAPON PLAY/IMMERSIVE COMBAT!!
Open the oiv and install into mods folder. If you get an error, install my realistic weapon play uninstaller. This will add all the files that need to be edited and fix the error.

1.1: Added Automatic Installer, Added FiveM Compatibility, Changed sounds of the: AKs, APPistol, Pistol50, and Heavy Pistol, Added (WIP) Reports/Echoes.
1.2: Improved all sounds by improving the echo both distance and near. Improved quality of distant sounds, fixed missing advanced rifle sound.
1.3: Added new reports, and sounds for all weapons. All changes in video (currently making it). Fixed no audio for the advanced rifle.

Downloaded and installed and guns have no sound need help
Way too distorted
I found out how to fix the no gunshot/ no sounds audio bug. if you installed oiv in mods folder, replace the weapons.meta in mods/update/update.rpf/common/data/ai with the original weapons.meta inside of the non mods update.rpf folder

@Zhnety you can just use another sound mod's uninstaller it will work for this one.
Hey @Poorsoul44. I tried to download and add the OIV file the, (1.3) to my OpenIV/Mods folder but it pops upp a eror saying: Fatal error occurred during installation. Please check log file for error details. The "footerLink" attribute is not found in node "metadata>description" How to fix??
1.3 Update made this the best gun sound mod by far.
@CYBERTHEKING You're probably missing some files in your mods folder. The oiv doesnt add any .meta file sit edits them. So install RGS's or RWS's uninstaller and then use my mod and see if it fixes it. https://www.gta5-mods.com/weapons/realistic-weapons-sounds
Distant weapon sounds update coming next, lost the files for it and thought I added it in 1.3.
Can you get rid of the bullet collision sounds? they are quite annoying especially on the carbine rifle

Can you take the machine pistol & compact rifle sound from Realistic weapon sounds by MvcGyver? Please because they are amazing, anyways keep it up!
